Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services

Program Review Committee

Overview

The Division of Youth Rehabilitative Services (DYRS) has established a Program Review Committee (PRC) as part of their commitment to continuous quality improvement. The primary objective of the committee is to employ a structured process to review and select programs offered to youth served by DYRS. The committee is designed to ensure that programs are evidence-based or promising practices, trauma-informed, and meet the needs of the youth served.

The PRC is composed of DYRS staff responsible for program development, implementation, training, and evaluation across DYRS facilities and community services.

Community providers may submit proposals for consideration by completing the Program Review Committee Form (linked below) and sending to YRS.DSCYF@delaware.gov. Proposals must include the completed form, along with relevant supporting materials, such as literature or curriculum samples. After an internal review, selected organizations will be invited to present at the PRC meeting. The primary program contact/coordinator must present in person and respond to any questions from committee members. The committee meets quarterly to review submitted proposals.

Community Providers: Please click on the ‘DYRS Program Review Committee Form‘ below to complete the registration for your proposal.
