Substance Abuse Prevention

The teen years encompass a lot of special and lasting memories – with prom, graduation, and other celebrations. However, it is important to be aware of the risks our teens may experience. Drug and alcohol use – including drinking or using marijuana and driving – have real, life-long impacts. It’s important to come together, break down barriers, and share information on preventing risky behaviors and tendencies. Having conversations is the first step.

Our Substance Abuse Block Grant Team works with communities, agencies, and schools to raise awareness about substance abuse and prevention and provides programs and resources to youth and their families.
