Treatment Services




The division offers voluntary behavioral health treatment services statewide for youth who meet the following eligibility:

  • 17 or younger
  • Resident of the state of Delaware
  • Covered by Medicaid or uninsured, and
  • Has one or more behavioral health diagnosis that require intensive behavioral health treatment intervention

Services are delivered in the community, and, when necessary, in inpatient or residential settings.

The division pays the cost of traditional office-based outpatient therapy for youth who are uninsured or who have exhausted their managed care outpatient benefit.

The division strives to serve youth in community-based services that enable them to be successful in their home, school and community.
