Nature of Proceedings

In accordance with the requirements of the Regulatory Flexibility Act, 29 Del. C. § 10401 et seq. (the “Act”), the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families (DSCYF) is conducting a review of the agency’s regulations that have not been amended in the last four years to determine which of those regulations should be modified or eliminated.

Covered Regulations

Title 9 Services for Children Youth and Their Families

• 301 Background Checks for Child-Serving Entities
• 302 Child Protection Registry Checks for Persons Working in Health Care Facilities, Public Schools, Private Schools, and Youth Camps
• 303 Entry on to and Expungement from the Central Child Abuse Registry
• 304 Child Protection Registry

Written Comments

Comments should be as specific as possible and include a reference to the regulation being commented on. Written comments can be submitted on paper or electronic form to DSCYF Office of the Secretary, Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families, 1825 Faulkland Rd.
