RTC/AOD Substance Abuse Program
The Turning Point Program, licensed by Division of Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health (DADAMH), is a drug and alcohol treatment program. This initiative began in January, 2000, with the hiring of a Clinical Supervisor. This program is funded through the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) federal grant that focuses on residential substance abuse treatment. This is a four month program that the Ferris School students will continue after they transition to Mowlds Cottage and back into the community. The aftercare program includes day treatment. The program became fully licensed in April 2004.
