Probation Orientation

Juvenile Probation Orientation is conducted in New Castle County, Dover, Milford, and Georgetown for clients who are new to probation.  Probation Orientation began in 2007 through Delaware's Juvenile Justice Collaborative in an effort to engage youth and their parents in successfully completing probation and reducing the instances of violations of probation.  Probation officers conduct the orientation sessions and review the expectations of youth and parents while a youth is being supervised by DYRS and provide information on court ordered conditions, expungement, and referral sources.
