She enjoys engaging in all sorts of conversation. Judy enjoys going to church with her foster family and is involved in activities geared for teenagers through the church. She has a great sense of humor. Judy maintains average grades in a regular education classroom setting. Judy has several good friends from school and has positive relationships with teachers and other school staff. On the surface, Judy presents as a normal teenager who likes to go to the mall, hang out with her friends, and talk or text on her cell phone. Judy describes herself as creative, adventurous and loving. As protective as she feels over her younger sister, Judy also tires of her easily. She enjoys it when she is able to do something without Cindy tagging along or being a part. Judy is a healthy teenager who has no history of medical problems. She sees a counselor every two weeks.

Cindy, born in 2000,  is a Caucasian female with blonde hair and deep brown eyes. She is a delightful young lady who is easy to talk to but not always easy to follow. Cindy changes subjects often -- and a lot of times mid-stream! She enjoys engaging in all sorts of conversation, but at times she must be reminded that the conversation already took place. Cindy is still learning to laugh at herself. Cindy enjoys going to church with her foster family and is involved in activities geared for youth her age through the church. She is described as a social child and describes many peers as her good friends. Cindy is provided special education services to address issues resulting from her vision deficit, congenital hearing loss,  ADHD, and receptive language deficits. Unfortunately, it appears that her hearing loss may not have been addressed in her early years, and this impacts her educational struggles today. She feels protected by her older sister but also tires of feeling as though she is always being bossed around. She enjoys it when she is able to do activities that are specific to her. She is well mannered and polite and generally follows the rules of both home and school, but again, needs constant reminding. While she still has ties to her birth mother and has monitored contact with her, Cindy is aware that she is to be adopted into a new family and wants very much to be placed in a home with her sister. Cindy is fun-loving and a joy to be around. Cindy’s school reports that she has a strong desire to succeed but that she finds it difficult because of her deficits. When those deficits are dealt with in an appropriate manner, using modern educational tools and techniques coupled with a supporting family, there’s no telling how far Cindy might go!

Keith is full of energy, enjoys staying busy, and is one of the first to help with household chores. Keith can fluctuate between being very friendly and outgoing to sullen and angry, however, these feelings are to be expected from a child who has had as many losses in his life as Keith has had.  Keith is interested in being adopted locally by a 'nice' family with cats and dogs. Out of loyalty to his own siblings, Keith is not sure at this time whether he would be comfortable being adopted by a family that already has children. It is very important to him that his new family be open to visits with his siblings.  Keith receives special education services at school. He enjoys going to school but admits that his grades are “not that great'. He enjoys attending church. He loves to be on the computer, both for fun and for school projects. His recent passion is fishing! He loves to talk about the sport and if taken to a park, he will cast his line for hours if you let him. He does not, however, like to take the fish off his line or touch the fish; he depends on someone else for this!

Shemar, born in 2002, is a sweet and sometimes shy boy with a love of automobiles! He loves anything that moves: cars, trucks, motorcycles, and buses. He enjoys spending time with his foster family doing projects and family activities. Shemar receives special education, loves going to school, and thrives on the structure it provides. Socially, he is a little behind his peers, but he loves making friends and playing with his classmates. Shemar needs a family that can provide him with structure and stability. His family needs to help support him in school and in continuing his counseling. Shemar is a sweet boy who needs a family to give him all the love he deserves!
